Wayne D. Williams, Chief Executive Officer
Wayne Williams was appointed chief executive officer of Embarcadero Technologies in 2007, where he oversees the execution of the company's global business strategies. He previously served as the company's COO and Senior Vice President, Products, and before that, as CTO for more than seven years. Prior to joining Embarcadero, Wayne was founder of EngineeringPerformance Inc., which was acquired by Embarcadero in October 2000. He was also a founding partner of TCSF, a software services company where he held several key executive positions. He is the architect of several database-centric tools and technologies. Wayne graduated from CDI College of Business and Technology with a degree in Computer Science. |

Jim Lines, Chief Financial Officer
Jim Lines brings more than 25 years of financial experience to Embarcadero, where he is responsible for the company’s financial operations. For the last seven years, he has been the CEO of Lines Consulting Group, which provides financial and operational services to private equity firms. Jim also served as the CFO of United Surgical Partners International, Inc., as well as ITI Marketing Services. Prior to these roles, Jim served 12 years in various financial management capacities at affiliates of AMR Corporation (American Airlines), including CFO of The SABRE Group. Jim graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He also holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Nigel Brown, Vice President and General Manager International
Nigel Brown has spent 22 years in the IT sector and joins Embarcadero as Vice President and General Manager International, responsible for the company's international operations in Europe and Asia, including sales, marketing, support, and services. He comes to Embarcadero after more than 10 years at Borland where he headed up the Developer Tools business (Code Gear) in 2006. Prior to that, he was Vice-President-EMEA, growing it to be Borland's largest and most successful region in 2000–2004. Before joining Borland, he was International Vice-President at Uniplex for six years, joining from Lotus where he held positions as UK Corporate Sales Director and International Marketing Director over a five year period. Nigel has a BSc Honours degree in Management Sciences and a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Loughborough University UK, along with a Diploma in Marketing from the UK Institute of Marketing. |
Greg Davoll, Vice President, Marketing
Greg Davoll brings more than 17 years of enterprise software product marketing and product management experience. Greg is responsible for managing Embarcadero's worldwide marketing strategy and initiatives. Prior to joining Embarcadero, he managed NetIQ's security and vulnerability management product portfolio. Prior to that role, he served various product management roles at IBM, Sybase, and BMC Software. Greg has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences, user groups, and database forums around the world. He holds two U.S. patents for his work on database compression at IBM's Santa Teresa Lab. Greg received his B.S. in Mathematics from Colorado School of Mines.

Lorraine C. Gnecco, Vice President, Human Resources
Lorraine Gnecco joined Embarcadero in January 2001 bringing with her more than 25 years of human resources experience. Lorraine directs Embarcadero's human resources and facilities functions, including recruiting, employee relations, organizational development, and operations. Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Discovery Channel Retail, managing human resources, training, facilities, and legal. Before joining Discovery Channel Retail, she held assorted positions at Wells Fargo, including Vice President of Human Resources and employee relations officer for the data center. Lorraine has served on numerous non-profit boards, including Board Chairperson for A Safe Place (shelter for battered women); Vice President for the Women's Philharmonic; Vice President for Christmas in April, Oakland; and the Shanti Project. |
Greg Keller, Vice President, Product Management
Greg Keller brings more than 14 years of experience in the area of commercial software product management. He is responsible for the product lifecycle methodology at the company which includes the conceptualization, execution and management of the company's products, business development and partner ecosystem development, and pre and post sales software consulting. Prior to joining Embarcadero, Greg served in key sales and product evangelism positions at Popkin Software and Systems (now IBM) for the System Architect product line. Greg is a regularly featured panelist and speaker in data modeling, data management conferences, is on the editorial board for various industry publications, and is a regular contributor to various data management columns and discussion groups. Greg earned his B.A. from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship. |
James Pitts, Vice President, Development and Program Management
James Pitts joined Embarcadero in 2001 and was appointed the role of Vice President, Development and Program Management in 2006. In his role, he leads design and innovation of all Embarcadero products. James brings more than 15 years of commercial software development experience, spending the last 12 years in the database tools industry, holding key positions at several start-up companies including DataMirror. Prior to entering the database tools industry, James spent three years in telecommunications, including with Bell Mobility and Unitel. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. |
Scott Schoonover, Vice President, Sales Americas
Scott Schoonover is responsible for Embarcadero's sales force across the Americas. Scott brings more than 25 years of sales and sales leadership experience along with a proven track record of success to his role at Embarcadero. Prior to joining Embarcadero, Scott held numerous sales, sales management, and marketing positions at BMC Software, Amdahl Corporation, and AT&T. Scott received a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Washington University, graduating cum laude, and completed executive and leadership courses from Cambridge Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Texas, and the University of Michigan. Scott is on the Board of Directors for "Therapy For All", a non-profit organization working to provide healthcare services to the economically disadvantaged. |
