David Intersimone, Chief Evangelist

David Intersimone (known to many as David I.) is a passionate and innovative software industry veteran-often referred to as a developer icon-who extols and educates the world on Embarcadero developer programs and runs the rampant online developer community. He shares his visions as an active member of the industry speaking circuit and is tapped as an expert source by the media. He is a long-standing champion of software developers and works to ensure that their needs are folded into Embarcadero's strategic product plans. Before Embarcadero, David spent more than 20 years with Borland in various evangelism, engineering, and development capacities, including creating the company's develop relations program. He previously served as Director of Product Services for Softsel Computer Products Inc. (now Merisel). David holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, California.

Philip Rathle, Director of Product Management

Philip Rathle brings more than fourteen years of software and information technology experience to his role as director of product management at Embarcadero. In this position, he guides the growth and development of Embarcadero All-Access, a new approach to software development and database tooling. Philip has worked extensively building IT solutions for Global 1000 organizations, Big 5 consulting firms, and startups—both in the private and public sectors. Previously, Philip co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer of Customer Evolutions, where he conceived and evolved a customer data integration software and services offering, helping global travel & transportation companies effectively manage their customer information. He began his career at Accenture, and spent many years at Tanning Technology Corporation directing projects in technology strategy and business intelligence. Philip holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University.

Scott Walz, Senior Director, Product Management

Scott Walz has more than 15 years of experience in the area of database development and currently serves as the senior director of product management for Embarcadero Technologies. In this position, Scott oversees the direction of the company's DatabaseGear product family, while focusing on database development and administration products. Prior to joining Embarcadero four years ago, Scott served as a development lead for Louisville Gas & Electric. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Western Kentucky University.

Mike Rozlog, Senior Director of Products

Mike Rozlog is the senior director of products for Embarcadero Technologies. In this role, he is focused on ensuring the developer focused products being created by Embarcadero meet the expectations of developers around the world. Much of his time is dedicated to discussing and explaining the technical and business aspects of Embarcadero’s products and services to analysts and other audiences worldwide. Mike was formerly with CodeGear, a developer tools group that was acquired by Embarcadero in 2008. Previously, he spent more than eight years working for Borland in a number of positions, including a primary role as Chief Technical Architect. A reputed author, Mike has been published numerous times. His latest collaboration is Mastering JBuilder from John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

Jason Tiret, Director of Modeling and Design Solutions

Jason Tiret is the director of modeling and design solutions for Embarcadero Technologies. In this role, he oversees Embarcadero's award-winning data modeling and design products. Jason counts more than a decade of experience in data modeling, metadata and database management. He has consulted with many Fortune 500 companies and has been a frequent speaker on the topics of data architecture, metadata and data governance. Jason received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of California at Davis.

Andreano Lanusse, Product Line Manager, Lead Evangelist Latin America & Caribbean

Andreano Lanusse is an expert and enthusiastic on software development industry, at Embarcadero he is focused on helping to make sure the products being developed meet the expectations of Embarcadero's customers, as well as defining market strategies for Latin America. Today as Latin Lead Evangelist he spends great deal of time in developer conferences, tradeshows, user group, and visiting customers throughout Latin America. Before Embarcadero, he worked 13 years for Borland, Andreano has worked as Support Coordinator, Engineer, Product Manager, including Product Line Sales Manager, where was responsible to manage the relationship with Brazil developer community, also has worked as Principal Consultant for Borland Consulting Services on the development and management of critical applications. He previously served as Chief Architect for USS Soluções Gerenciadas (now USS Tempo). Andreano holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration Marketing Emphasis from Sumare Institute, MBA in Project Management from FGV, certification in Microsoft products, all Borland ALM products, and all CodeGear product line.
