Running our company monthly invoices were taking upwards of three hours to run and sometimes the SQL server would stop processing the invoices. We needed to find out what was causing the slow down as fast as possible and fix it. DB Optimizer allowed us to see that the indexes were not optimized, memory was being squeezed and the I/O subsystem was not the best fit. This allowed our team to tackle the three major issues all at the same time without going down a wrong path.
